Community Outreach

Monsanto:
Monsanto’s goal with their 53-ft Mobile Technology Unit was to provide farmers a firsthand look at how Monsanto, through its national brands, is applying advanced science to help them be more profitable and create new market opportunities for their crops.  The company decided that the most advantageous way to reach the end user, farmers, was to actually travel around to farming communities.

BP:
The goals of BP unit is to provide community outreach and promote green initiatives throughout the unit. The uniquely-shaped tanker has various displays demonstrating green options and educational information for the consumer.

Health Across America:
The Health Across America mobile screening RV was used as an extension for a national diabetes awareness and screening tour beginning in May 2009.  The unit travels to various community events and provide free diabetes screenings.  The two objectives are: raise awareness of the growing diabetes epidemic in America and remind patients with diabetes that local pharmacists can help you manage your diabetes care.
